Parents and Guardians: Get Involved
Parents and guardians play a
key role in the success of parish programs for young people. Parents and
guardians who are involved in parish programs and events will be in the best
position to protect their own children as well as all the children in the
parish community. Involvement and communication are important factors in
helping to ensure safe environments for all of our children.
For particular help you may
call, Kevin Scully or Jeanne Bruno at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington
at 1-802-658-6110.
BABY

TOTUS TUUS
(Latin for “Totally Yours”, taken from Pope John Paul II’s motto), is a
week-long summer catechetical program for students entering grades 1-6 in the
fall. New to the Diocese of Burlington in 2010, Totus Tuus combines the riches
of our Catholic heritage with the fun and excitement of a day-camp experience.
Totus Tuus combines catechesis and having Fun!! Students will participate in a
catechetical instruction, daily Mass, songs, games, and recreation. The capable
staff is comprised of three seminarians and three college students who love
their Catholic faith, and will share their youthfulness and energy with the

PRAYER TO GOD THE FATHER
O God, our Father in Heaven, I marvel to think that
You have called me to be a father, too.
For in Your presence I am but a child. You are strong,
I am weak, You are all holy, I am a sinner, You are perfect in wisdom and love,
I am often blind and prone to selfishness.
In spite of all this, You have called me to be a
father here on earth. I ask from You the grace to lead my family along Your
paths, By my words, but especially by my example and my prayer. Help me to put
my wife and children ahead of my own ambitions and recreations, to be attentive
to their needs, just as You show Your provident care to all of us.
And when firmness or discipline are required, help me
to be motivated not by frustration or impatience, but – like You – by a heart
of love.
Amen.
BISHOP’S

total of $3,050.00 of their $10,295.00 goal. This is a tremendous response.
Thank you to all those who have already contributed to this 52nd
