MASS FOR BEREAVED PARENTS will be held on Thursday, November 6 at

ADOPT A CHARITY
The K-6 Religious Education
program at St. Dominic’s will be colleting items in their giving boxes for the
Rutland County Humane Society for the month of October. Their wish list for
donations is as follows:
Dog or cat food, cat litter, paper towels, cardboard scratch
boxes, litter boxes (new only), cat & dog toys, copy paper, small paper
plates, cat & dog treats, garbage bags, bedding and dog leashes. (A
complete list can be found at www.RCHSVT.org.
The giving box is located in the rear of both
churches. Please do not send: open bags of food or treats, used toys, used
food dishes or used litter boxes, wire crates and no electric blankets.
The RCHS programs are
supported solely by donations, memberships and fund raising events.
The St. Peter Parish Council will be having a cash raffle. There will
be monthly prizes and a grand prize drawing. The Raffle will run from November
to April. Tickets are $25.00 each. Parish Council members will begin selling
the tickets later this month.

HARVEST DINNER
This is the LAST WEEKEND to purchase your
tickets to the Harvest Dinner to be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the
Franklin Conference Center at 6:30 PM. Proceeds will supplement the St. Peter
Church Fuel Collection. The menu will include Roast Pork with Stuffing, Chicken
Alfredo, butternut squash, mashed potatoes, salads, desserts and a cash bar.
There will be a prize raffle. There will be music and dancing with Peter
Giancola’s 18-piece Big Band EnerJazz.
Get your tickets early. Tickets are $12.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children.
Advanced tickets only, tickets WILL NOT

ST. DOMINIC’S CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
This year, our 15th
Annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 8th from

Please help the Council on Aging to provide bundles of shelf stable
foods to 800 homebound or isolated seniors, for them to eat on a day we can’t
deliver Meals on Wheels. We are asking for donations of specific items:

ounce fruit juice (100 % juice) – juice boxes
4 ounce
peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, pineapple or fruit cocktail – snack packs
6.75 ounce
Minute Maid
4 ounce
applesauce (snack pack)
The collection will take place from now until Sunday, November 9th.
There are Blizzard Bag boxes at the entrances of the Church.
