SAINT MICHAEL’S COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

On behalf of Saint Michael’s College I am pleased to announce the continuation of our Parish Scholarship Program for students entering college in the fall of 2010. As you know, the Parish Scholarship is just one way we strive to embody the mission of Saint Michael’s as a Catholic institution founded by the Society of Saint Edmund over 100 years ago and that we recognize Vermont’s most promising Catholic students. Each parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington may select one of its parishioners to receive a tuition scholarship of up to $11,000 over four years (up to $2,750 per year) at Saint Michael’s College. The nominee must be a first-year applicant for admission to Saint Michael’s College. The Office of New Student Financial Aid must receive your nomination for the scholarship by February 1, 2010. Please contact Fr. Ted for a Financial Aid Application.

2009 ADVENT APPEAL

The Vermont Catholic Charities 2009 Advent Appeal, (formerly the Giving Tree), aids our Vermont neighbors with food, Christmas gifts, and much more. Pastors throughout Vermont tell us that families also need help with heating bills, medicine, and warm winter clothes for elders. Please consider a donation to make this joyous season happier for our neighbors who need a hand. You may give online at www.vermontcatholic.org; use the donation envelope in church; or send your contribution to Advent Appeal, P.O. Box 989, Burlington, VT  05402-0989.
