ST. DOMINIC’S PARISH

SPAGHETTI SUPPER REPORT

Our annual Spaghetti Supper was held on April 25 for the benefit of the parish. The sum of $584.00 was raised. Thanks to all that helped in any way, from setting up to cleaning up. We are so grateful to Luisa Cioffi for her generous donation and her time to the spaghetti supper and also for Bob Coons working with us to prepare the spaghetti supper, Lynn Ryan for the fine coverage in advertising, and Leona Minard for doing the posters. Ladies, thanks for the delicious cakes. Two new 90 cup coffee makers were purchased at $139.00 each and donated to our kitchen by Court St. Rose #1100 C.D.A. and Bob Coons. A special thanks goes out to the members of Court St. Rose #1100 C.D.A. and Bob Coons. 50/50 raffle tickets were sold and the lucky winner was Louise Pentkowski of Pittsford. She won $42.50 and donated her winnings to the parish. Thanks Louise. Have a pleasant summer.

Letter from the Community Cupboard,

A Rutland area food shelf:

Dear Friends,

The Community Cupboard would like to thank you for your first quarter contribution of 252 items. We are dependent on charitable contributors like you. Without continued support from our community, churches, businesses, schools and organizations, we would not be able to provide much needed food assistance to over 13,000 people annually. Please pass along our continued gratitude to your members.  Again, we appreciate your generosity this year in helping us supply emergency food to those in need. Thanks to you, the Community Cupboard continues to be a valuable asset to the greater Rutland area. We appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

 Susan D. Bassett, Coordinator
