Dear St. Peter Parishioners:

The Community Cupboard would like to thank you for your second quarter contribution of 247 food items. Your year to date total is 616. We are dependent on charitable contributors like you. Without continued support from our community, churches, businesses, schools and organizations, we would not be able to provide much needed food assistance to 13,000 people annually. Please pass along our continued gratitude to your employees and members. Again, we appreciate your generosity this year in helping us supply emergency food to those in need. Thanks to you, the Community Cupboard continues to be a valuable asset to the greater Rutland area. We appreciate your support. We served more new families in 2009 than every before. We have helped more than 1,700 different families – an average of 480 families each month, for a total of 5,765 visits for emergency food. We are currently serving an average of 530 families per month so far in 2010. Please keep our increasing needs in your thoughts, food collections and monetary donations.

Sincerely,

Susan Bassett

Coordinator
