VERMONT CATHOLIC CHARITIES, INC. (VCCI) has an opening for a Staff Accountant. We’re looking
for an individual who will provide a range of accounting functions for VCCI and
our Level III Assisted Living Homes. The role will include but is not limited
to accounts receivable and billing; accounts payable and purchasing; general
ledger accounting and financial analysis. This position reports to the
Controller. To be considered for the position, candidates should have a B.S. in
Accounting or Finance or an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and some related
work experience. Candidates must also be highly proficient with Microsoft
Excel. Familiarity with FRx Report Writer, Crystal Reports and accounting

I am sorry for the fact that
Gordon Anderson, Jr. was listed in the last few bulletins as to be prayed for
as sick after he had passed away, but unfortunately the company that produces
our bulletins gave us a deadline for our bulletins to be produced during the
holidays. That deadline was done weeks prior to Mr. Anderson’s death.
To eliminate this from
happening again, we have decided to remove the portion of the bulletin where
the sick of St. Dominic’s Parish are listed to be prayed for. The information
regarding the sick of St. Dominic’s Parish is mentioned at Mass each weekend so
names do not need to be printed in the bulletin. Thank you.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AT MSJ will be held each Friday from
ST.
ANTHONY GUILD – 2008
The St. Anthony Guild of St. Peter’s helped 66 households with food
vouchers and 16 households with help for their CVPS bills in 2008. The Guild
spent $4,204.00 to provide this assistance. We also gave $300.00 to provide
gift certificates for our Thanksgiving baskets. Our generous donors and the
Assumption Day bake sale gave $5,546.70 to support the ministry of our
