THIS WEEKEND, January 9 & 10, we will be asking for donations after the Masses for St. Anna’s Orphanage, a home for AIDS babies, in Tanzania, E. Africa. The monies will be used to purchase a washer and dryer that they are in dire need of. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Checks may be made out to: Benedictine Mission House. This weekend, January 9 & 10, Fr. Ray and I will begin a five part series of homilies on the Seven Sacraments of the Church.  Each weekend, from January 9 & 10 to February 6 & 7, we will speak about one or two sacraments to explain the history, meaning, and spirituality of the sacraments.  Hopefully this series will give us a better appreciation of the importance of the sacraments in our lives.

 

RALLY FOR LIFE MASS will be held on January 16 at St. Augustine Church in Montpelier. His Excellency the Most Reverend Bishop Salvatore R. Matano will be the main celebrant. Following the Mass participants will gather at 10:45 AM behind City Hall (in Montpelier) to line up for the march to the steps of the State House where opening remarks will be followed by speakers indoors.
