CANDLES FOR THIS WEEKEND:

(ST. PETER’S)

Ann:  Gordie Anderson

Next weekend, January 9 & 10, Fr. Ray and I will begin a five part series of homilies on the Seven Sacraments of the Church.  Each weekend, from January 9 & 10 to February 6 & 7, we will speak about one or two sacraments to explain the history, meaning, and spirituality of the sacraments.  Hopefully this series will give us a better appreciation of the importance of the sacraments in our lives.

We would like to thank everyone who helped in decorating St. Peter and St. Dominic Churches for Christmas. Many hands went into this preparation and we are thankful to everyone involved.

ON THE WEEKEND of January 9 & 10, we will be asking for donations after the Masses for St. Anna’s Orphanage, a home for AIDS babies, in Tanzania, E. Africa. The monies will be used to purchase a washer and dryer that they are in dire need of. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Checks may be made out to: Benedictine Mission House. Please put in memo line on check:  Sr. Dorothy Pilkington.
