Letter from
Dear Fr. Corley:
Please accept my sincerest thanks for hosting the Vermont Right to Life
Baby Bootie Campaign in your churches in June. It is gratifying to witness the
outpouring of support for the effort to restore respect for human life here in
our state. I hope you will extend our gratitude to your parishioners at St.
Peter’s Church and St. Dominic’s Church who so generously contributed to our
fundraiser. Please also give a special thanks to Linda for volunteering to
coordinate the project. Vermont Right to Life received $656.65 from St. Peter’s
Church and $158.69 from St. Dominic’s Church, for a total of $815.34 in
contributions! With the funds, VRLC will
make new purchases of educational materials and other resources to reach out to
Vermonters – all of which will be put to the best possible use. Most
immediately, materials will be provided to those pro-life volunteers who use
the local county fairs as an opportunity to change hearts and minds and help
them to recognize the humanity of the unborn. May God bless you and your
parishioners for the generosity and prayers.
For life itself,
Mary Hahn Beerworth
Executive Director

He
summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and
understand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but
the things that come out from within are what defile." - Mk 7:14-15
RCIA PROGRAM
FOR BELIEVERS AND WOULD-BE BELIEVERS
The RCIA process is designed
to help persons in one or more of the following groups:
- Catholics who want to deepen their understanding
of their Faith.
- Adult Catholics preparing for 1st
Communion and Confirmation.
- Returning Catholics.
- Non-Catholics who want to learn more about
Catholic Christianity.
- Non-Catholics who want to become a member of the
Catholic Church.
RCIA is the process of
learning and living the message of Jesus as revealed in the Scriptures and in
Catholic tradition. The program explores the teachings, practices, and history
of the Catholic Church – so that each person involved in the process comes to
enjoy a fuller, richer understanding of God and his/her relationship to God and
community. For enrollment or for more information, please contact Fr. Ted at
775-1994.
