Adam De Blasio’s Eagle Scout Project on the Holy Family Shrine is
progressing. The statues have been cleaned and sealed and soon the marble
railing will be repaired. Adam has raised approximately $3,220 so far. He is
looking to raise another $675 to put a wooden cross in front of the statues and
to repair the loose marble in front of the marble railing. If you would like to
donate to this project, please mail it to, or drop it off at St. Peter’s
Rectory. Please make your checks payable to Adam. Thank you for your
generous donations so far.

BISHOP’S FUND
The 2009 Bishop’s Fund Campaign
is nearing completion. St. Peter’s has already raised a total of $35,356 of
their $37,925 goal – St. Dominic’s has raised a total of $8,735 of their
$10,295 goal. Thank you to everyone who
has already made a gift to this year’s effort. If you have not yet made your
gift, envelopes are available at the entrances of both Churches.
THE ST. PETER’S GARDEN COMMITTEE would like to thank Mendon Mountain Orchards for
their beautiful donations of flowers that allowed the garden committee to fill
the planters at the front of the church and around the flag pole. The committee is in need of perennials to
start permanent beds around the grounds of the church. If anyone has an
abundance of perennials they wish to donate, the garden committee would be
thrilled to receive them. Also, if anyone is willing to donate time to the
committee, please call Nichole Peterson at 773-0370.
