BISHOP’S FUND

The 2008 Bishop’s Fund is reaching completion. Our goal for this year is $39,200 for St. Peter and $11,250 for St. Dominic. We have already raised a total of $29,051 for St. Peter and $9,325 for St. Dominic. This is a wonderful response and we are grateful to all those who have shown their commitment to this 50th anniversary of the Bishop’s Fund. If you have not yet made your gift, envelopes are available at all the exits of the Church.

THE VERMONT RIGHT TO LIFE Committee would like the thank St. Peter & St. Dominic for hosting the Baby Bootie Campaign in May and June. It is gratifying to witness the outpouring of support for the effort to restore respect for human life here in our state. I hope you will extend our gratitude to your parishioners who so generously filled each bootie to the brim with their spare change. Vermont Right to Life received $904.15 from St. Peter’s Church and $192.24 from St. Dominic’s Church, for a total of $1,096.39!  With the funds, VRLC will make new purchases of educational materials and other resources – all of which will be put to the best possible use to help change public opinion in favor of life.
